Couzou cottage, near Rocamadour (6km) - on one of the old pilgrim routes to Santiago de Compostella - sleeps 5.
Whilst compact, the light and airy gite boasts three bedrooms (2 doubles and a single) with separate bathrooms: WC, bath/shower. The cottage is thoroughly modernised and very comfortable. It has a fully equipped kitchen, with gas stove, microwave and large fridge/freezer. The premises are equipped with a washing machine. The living room is filled with books and guides to the Lot, together with a CD player and some CD's.
The south facing balcony looks out onto the flower-filled church square. The cottage benefits from a separate garden and picnic area, about 150m away. A table and chairs on the terrace allows you to drink and eat 'al fresco'.
The
bustling market town of Gramat lies 10km away while the river Dordogne with its
superb swimming, fishing and canoeing facilities is just 15Km away. Couzou
offers an ideal self-catering base from which to explore the beautiful
rugged Lot
countryside and it's many
