La Boussole gite is situated in the village of Themines, on the N140 between Gramat and Figeac in the Lot, Midi-Pyrenees.
Located in the gardens at La Buissonnière a bed and breakfast, the gite is
a haven of peace. Ideal for a couple with children over 10 years old.
Upstairs you will find a double bedroom and a bathroom complete with bath,
shower, basin and toilet.
Downstairs, two extra beds double as sofas in the living room, and there
is another toilet and basin. There is a fully equipped American kitchen including
washing machine, oven, microwave and refrigerator where you will be able to
have your meals in a contemporary atmosphere. The garden has maintained the
rustic beauty of the region with its dry-stone walls. However, the addition
of flowered bushes and shady corners make this garden a lovely place to read,
rest or enjoy a barbeque.
La Boussole gite is within five minutes walk from the bakery and butchery
who also sells wine, butter, cheese etc. The village has a café, restaurant,
post office and antique shop. Gramat with its good supermarkets and shops
is fifteen minutes by car and the larger Figeac about twenty-five minutes.
